Morning all
Wife comes in from school run this morning
says, i was talking to son in car and next thing i looked and a square red light was on dashboard and the engine stopped.
after much interviewing, like trying to extract vital spy info on james bond, she then says oh all the other lights were on as well. i said, well you must have turned it off as all those lights would be on in the ignition position.
she says i did not turn off with much stamping off feet.
so car has started, driven couple miles, parked up and then cut out is the story i think.
she then says it started up normal and drove home.
i out the vcds on, nothing anywhere to report as a fault. charging ok even with everything electrcal on idle still charging. double checked this with the vcds as well as hand meter.
so there it is, any ideas welcome as im clueless.
i have left it on tickover and no problems. just an oddity, or an odd wife who now wonders if she did turn it off but swears she didnt as she said we.. Ben noticed it as well. this is a 12 year old boy.

what could possibly make an engine just stop.
had this issues before ,engine cuts out when gets worm.... the coolant sensor was faulty ..i hope this will help.thnx
