Today i found out that i have heated side mirrors in a quite dumb way. I was driving in my garage, car slipped on ice and i damaged housing :D I did not found button for them so i expect that they work with tailgate heated window. There was missing fuse for mirrors and i don`t know what value that has. Any one knows?
Nice! It's a 10A in location 23.
not so nice with knackered housing :D but it works now.
i wonder what i will find next. this car keeps supprising me
I discovered this on my Mondeo. If you go to:
http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do
Click on the vehicle tab and enter your reg (or VIN if outside the UK, I suspect) you will get a pile of info about your vehicle at build. On the right, at the bottom of the box, there is a link which expands to give you a pretty comprehensive list of features. In that list, I have "Dual Power Htd Signal Mirrors" - well, I knew they were electric as there is the control panel on the driver's door card. But it was missing the button for specifically heating the mirrors. So I worked out that it was likely connected to either the screen or back window buttons or maybe both. Turns out that it is the rear screen that also clears the mirrors and it seems to be a common, undocumented feature on many Fords.
The FORD systems not gonna work on his VOLKSWAGEN sharan though lol :-\
I can't help it if some people don't know which badge to buy..... ;-)
Even if, in the case of the Mk2 Gal, that Ford badge is simply slapped on another manufacturer's vehicle! [HAHA]
