As per title, are all the VW ASZ engines/heads the same/interchangeable?
Could I swap the Galaxy engine with let's say an engine from a Golf or Ibiza? Cheers.

Basic engine will most likely be same just ancillaries like inlet manifold will differ.

Are the cylinder heads the same? Not covers, just the main cylinder head! Cheers.

So long as it's same engine code the basic engine will be the same,I would imagine the 130 awx engine will be same aswell just some ancillaries like manifolds,turbo etc will differ

Mtu series 1600 power pack for IEP train,it was either that or a picture of the kids to choose from on my phone. Lol
