Hi all, after problems with my sliding electric door which are now fixed I am back again as having problems with the electric tailgate!
It opens perfectly normally but stops before its fully open so you have to stoop to avoid banging your head - not good when you are only 5ft2 anyway lol. If you look at this picture it shows it open much higher then mine and it used to open that far so not sure whats happened to it. Is there a setup procedure or way of adjusting its stop?

What happens if you open it manually?
Hi Mark, if I open it manually I can open it fully so it can do it but its choosing not to!
Sounds like its lost its 'open' position then, this can happen especially if you have disconnected the battery recently?
Programming the opening angle
The rear lid opening angle can be set individually. To achieve this, the rear lid is moved electrically or manually to the desired end position. The button to close rear lid in luggage compartment is then pressed and held for longer than three seconds. The current position of the rear lid is now stored as the upper end position. Successful setting is acknowledged by the hazard warning lights flashing once and by an audible signal. The rear lid cannot be programmed in the opening angle range from 0Ã,° to 20Ã,°.
Thankyou so much! That worked perfectly [drive]
