Got a 51 plate galaxy 1.9tdi and not boosting all the time

You'll need to give us more info to work with than that-what's the engine code/ power output? Assuming that you've not got the 90ps engine with the fixed geometry turbo fitted then one of the usual causes is sticking turbo vanes (https://www.fordmpv.com/smf2/ford-galaxy-reference-library/turbo-removal-115-pd-engine/) but it could be other things as well, have you scanned it for codes because if not that's your first step.

As above more info required,could be any number of things causing it like sticking vanes,map/maf sensor issues,vac fault,n75 fault etc. Really need to get codes read and then go from there
