Title: SEAT Alhambra 2015 changing front headlight bulb mainbeam

Hi all, back again with a new bamma :)

Only problem is the mainbeam is out of the passenger side. There is a rubber cap which i pulled off but a but stuck now as cant see any clips to undo to get to bulb? any help?

I've no direct experience of this job but assuming it's a standard halogen bulb it's usually just retained by a spring clip. Do you have reasonably good access to see into the back of the headlight? The parts diagram (http://seat.7zap.com/en/e/alhambra/al/2016-705/9/941-941000/) suggests that the dipped beam bulb has some kind of separate holder (no. 3) but not main beam.

Like Paul I dont have experience of the alhambra bulbs but from around 2010, most VW's went to a design that had the bulb fitted into a holder which rotates into the headlamp.

That link suggests a H15 bulb which is a specific bulb that contains both mainbeam and DRL as its dual filliment, The H15 deffinately rotates in, just twist it counter clockwise to undo.

Thanks chaps, I took the mainbeam bulb out by twisting it as described and yes I now dont have a DRL either lol. Will get the new bulb from euro in the morning  ;D
