Hi

I've just replaced both of the rear bushes on the front lower control arms on my Mk2 Sharan - all in all a straightforward job. Now, I've had a good search, but can't find anywhere the torque settings for the 2 large bolts that secure the front lower control arm to the sub-chassis. Can anybody give me a pointer?

The Haynes manual doesn't fully answer the question, it clearly states that the front bolt is 90nm plus 90^o angle tighten, however it says nothing about the rear bolt.... ??? If the rear bolt is of the same size and pitch of thread as the front bolt I would go with the same torque as the front bolt.

The 2 bolts look identical so I'll go for the 90 + 90 on both.
