Hi all,
I have noticed spots oil underneath car. This only appears when im parked on a small incline or hill when parked on flat surface no oil,.Noticed it a couple of weeks ago.Went away this weekend and car was parked up for two days on a flat surface no oil.Parked up last night on non flat surface and ther is small amount of oil.I took the cover off under engine two weeks ago and could only find oil by "oil filter housing to engine block gasket" .I even used stop engine leak (wyns) done over 400 miles no difference.I sayed over night it about quarter of egg cup max.Any ideas
I would change gasket on filter housing as its only a cheap part and straightforward to change, stop leak wouldn't work on that I don't reckon.
Then give a good clean off.
Take it the leak happens on downhill incline rather than uphill?
Another member here has had a similar problem, take a look here (https://www.fordmpv.com/smf2/ford-galaxy/oil-leak-front-of-engine), could be the same thing.
