Title: engine management light

Hi i just bought a cheap galaxy but someone has taken engine management light fuse out i think can someone tell me what fuse number it is and the amp thanks

I don't think there is a specific fuse for light it will be from the engine control fuse and fed from ecu.
I would suspect blown or missing bulb if it don't work

Have you access to vcds to scan for codes?

The diesel variants don't use the normal engine management light, the glow plug warning light doubles as an engine fault light.

So does that mean there is a problem with my 1.9tdi then? I had engine light on and logged fault code with maf,the glow plug light only come on for glow not when I had a fault??
