Title: Arm Rest cleaning etc...
Post by: niall on March 10, 2016, 11:20:20 PM
Good Evening

Can anyone recommend a good upholstery cleaner? The arm rests in the my Galaxy are manky. I've tried a couple of houshold cleaners but they just don't have enough grunt!

Or would I be better off getting the car valeted? Do they have better 'gear' for this?  I'd rather do it myself though....

Thanks

With a bit of elbow grease, I've found Autoglym's 'interior shampoo' good for general grime and dirt on upholstery, though if it's greasy oily grime then something like their 'intensive tar remover' might be necessary first!

Steam cleaner worked a treat on my interior and then finished off with some upholstery shampoo and a wet vac to freshen it up.
