Great thanks for that Chris we certainly need one. I will put it with my collection of Fords Zephyr, Cortina, Escort, Sierra, Mondeo, Mk 1 and 2 Galaxy. Not that I know where they are.
Anyone know why this has been removed from the Haynes library??
Chris,
I have emailed Haynes still awaiting reply
On another forum I heard Halfords had the book in stock although I cannot confirm this.
The York store had one yesterday, i got mine of ebay a week or so ago - just seems very strange why its gone.
Be interested in Haynes reply.
Chris.

Can only assume there must be some mistakes with the issue.

And this is unusual and requires withdrawal because.......?
Perhaps the error was serious enough to potentially cause injury to somebody carrying out a procedure and Haynes didn't want a lawsuit on their hands?!
rear brake torque setting being incorrect apparently,
if so why wasnt that double/triple checked then?
I managed to pick a manual up from a nearby Halfords yesterday (I assume my copy still has the erroneous torque settings?) - it's actually not too bad, compared to some other recent (very poor) Haynes manuals I've seen.
The Haynes manual has been re-issued - here is the new link

The reason been explained in this letter which I got when my supplier sent me the new one free of charge.
