Does anyone know what might cause backlight failure on a mk 1 dash? First the right light went (behind fuel gauge) and now both are dead so the speedometer can't be seen at night. Is it likely to be bulbs or are there separate fuses for these lights? Thanks

I would say bulbs as they went at separate times,they are supplied via same feed so blown fuse would knock all off together

Ok that makes sense. How easy/difficult is it to get at these bulbs?

Ok I've found some older posts and it looks like it's just a few screws and the panel should pull out. I'll give it a go next week
