Title: ford galaxy mk 2 clutch pedal return spring

hi all ive just replaced my leaking clutch master cylinder and I removed pedal to release clip now im having trouble fitting the spring when building it back up. has anyone else on here fitted one and how do I go about it

thanks for any help I can get.

The parts diagram (http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford_part&s_id_part=24723&s_id_model=99&s_code_image=C002105906) shows a couple of different springs- numbers 17 & 33. I've never had mine in bits, but which one are you struggling with?

I've never had to disassemble mine so I can't speak from experience specifically on the Galaxy but with these kind of things usually struggling with it is the only option. What's the main issue? Is it just that you can get the spring back over the retaining lug?
