Title: Where can I find a water pump?
Post by: Forrepell on November 19, 2015, 05:56:09 PM
Need to replace the water pump on my Galaxy 2.3 2001 Auto.

I can't seem to find any new water pumps for under Ã,£100 (the garage said I should be able to get one from ebay for under Ã,£40).

Any ideas?

If you go to GSF car parts and put in your vehicle reg, depending on the build date of your vehicle, part no 170FO0470 (http://www.gsfcarparts.com/170fo0470) should do the job, cost...... Ã,£43.

Thanks, I take it that it's chain driven so don't need the extras?

On the 2.3 petrol I think it's driven from the alternator belt (http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford_part&s_id_part=24810&s_id_model=99&s_code_image=G002114302)........
