Title: MK3 Alloy Wheels
Post by: Russats on October 27, 2015, 10:01:41 PM
Mk3 alloys 225/50/R17 would they fit on a mk 2, currently on 215/55/16

Other than speedo issues are they likely to fit?

I'm not sure if the bolt hole circle diameter is the same, there's a good chance it will be, but at the same time time the wheel offset may be different. And you'd also need to check to see if the spigot is the same diameter (the protruding 'flange' that surrounds the hub bolt which the wheel locates over).

I can't answer your question for sure, perhaps somebody else out there can give you a definite answer.
