can anyone tell me the easiest way to remove the drivers seat as something has snapped and the seat has dropped on the left/rear side. Thanks
I've never taken a seat out of a Mk3 Galaxy but I'd expect it to be the standard 4 bolts (one in each corner) though possibly more- items HS1 and HS2 here (http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford_part&s_id_part=1244141&s_id_model=118&s_code_image=G014963612), which usually require a male torx socket in the region of size 50-55 to remove. You'll need to slide the seat fully forward and backwards in turn on the runner in order to access all of the bolts. There will also be a wiring connector for the seatbelt pretensioner/ side airbag/ occupant sensor etc which will need to be disconnected, being that you'll be disconnecting airbag connectors safe practice is to disconnect the battery and leave for 5 minutes or so before removing the connector.
Yes, it's a no. 50 Torx, I've loaded a photo of the set I've got. It's a bolt in each corner. Make sure they go back in tight...
