Just acquired a 2011 Galaxy 2.0 163 Titanium. Which diagnostics adapter(s)/software are people commonly using please? Thanks.

Thank you. I have ordered an ELM327 modified with the switch. I have installed ELMConfig and FORScan on the laptop for when it arrives. I am hoping that one of these will allow me to find out more about the parking assistance fault (long beep, flashes then shuts down) and to enable the towing functions as I have fitted a towbar for my trailer? It would be nice if it could program a second key but that's probably a step too far in my expectations.

:)

your hand book should tell you how to program keys,no doubt if you only have the 1 then its probably dealer or auto locksmith job?

whats the onboard diagnostic showing up?

I've got a feeling the more recent Ford vehicles are no longer enabled to allow owner programming of additional keys or clearing existing keys, regardless of how many keys you have. Probably done in the interests of security but it was damn useful (and better on the wallet!) to be able to do it yourself at home!
