Hi all.
May seem silly but i have a 2009 galaxy ghia with rear heating / air.
The fan is going at max speed no matter what setting i use.
Does anyone know where the heater is located please so i can try and change the reisistor please,
Howdy!
Which blower fan is running at full speed- front, rear or both? There are two blower motors, one in the front heater box and one in the rear and usually they each have their own resistor pack for independent speed regulation.
Hi.
It is the rear fan on full speed.
Thanks.
In that case I believe the resistor pack will be located in the rear blower box, which if the Mk3 Galaxy is anything like the Mk2 lives behind one of the rear interior quarter trim panels, I think the resisitor is no. 19E624 on this (http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford_part&s_id_part=1233005&s_id_model=118&s_code_image=G015161205) parts diagram.
thank you. I will have a go at removing the panels tomorow, Bit of luck i will get the right 1 first time.
Grand kids moan because it is so windy in the back.
Seem to remember rear heater/Aircon is under the floor where the spare wheel would normally be.
