brake pad warning light has come on, pads changed front and rear however the light remains on, how do I switch it off?
The sensors (or at least the connections/wiring for them, being quite exposed to the elements) for the pad wear indicators are quite temperamental with reports of the warning lamp randomly coming on then going off again quite common. Indeed, I've experienced it myself a few times, take a read of this (https://www.fordmpv.com/smf2/ford-galaxy/brake-pad-warning-light/msg9941/#msg9941) thread.
Another issue though may be if you've replaced the pads with a set or sets which don't have wear sensors & the associated wiring in them when your original pads did, did the new pads match the old ones, wiring and all?
