When camping we like to have the doors open and often shut but not locked. Problem is the footwell and boot lights remain on unless the doors are shut and locked. We can over ride the internal over head reading lights/ cabin lights. How can you switch off or over ride the footwell and boot lights and avoid having a flat battery !
Probably remove fuse 53
Lights will normally go off after 30 minutes if a door is left open.
As above, the controller will cut power to the interior lights (IIRC its 10mins, not 30) and they won't come on again until a new door is opened or an existing one closed/opened.

I did think it was less but it does say 30 minutes in the handbook
