Hi there

assuming then you had relay 109 issues that you have now resolved, does the power return after an engine switch off. if this is the case then you have  boost issue.
You will now need to scan for codes using a vagcom lead and a laptop, under and overboost give similar symptoms but correcting can require different procedures.

If you're 100% its overboost then its almost certainly the vanes within the turbo sticking. There is a detailed post in the reference library about stripping the turbo down and cleaning it or you may find an "italian tuneup" will clear it out for you.

Have you scanned for codes since changing N75 valve.
What was the full code number?

Other possibilities for overboost are sticking turbo vanes and/or faulty actuator, clogged intake manifold/EGR valve.

Hi there - I have had a similar proble with the turbo dropping out.  It started with what they call "turbo chatter", and eventually (after about a year) actually started "dropping out".  All very intermittent, sometimes I could drive it without issue and sometimes the turbo would drop out almost immediately.  Very irritating as no way of detecting it happening, just suddenly would have no power.

Talked to my local Ford garage on several occasions about it, but no luck in getting it resolved.  Would keep getting over boost code on VCDS.  Ford said I shouldn't be using supermarket fuel as it could make the problem worse.

Eventually I tooke the plunge a couple of months ago and replaced the turbo - touch wood the problem has gone away so it was probably the veins the the turbo clogging up.  My car has only done about 80,000 miles so I am bitterly disappointed with this outcome.  Especially after I had to have the head gasket renewed too!! ( Been in touch with turbotechnics and they state turbo life expectancy is 80,000 to 100,000 miles and costs about Ã,£250 to refurb.)

Reference the starting issue - I haven't had it so that the car won't start, but it can be sluggish to start - apparently this is a common thing and to do with the Starter motor becoming sluggish and will probably need replacing at some point.

All good news, eh?
:'(
