HI Guys,
I'm new here!
I was wondering if anyone has installed a HID kit to their Galaxy. I have the 2008 model and was thinking of getting a HID kit fitted in?
Secondly, I need to fit some seat covers. My son usually makes a mess in our long journey's out of town. I have been recommend http://www.autoleathers.co.uk/. I was wondering if anyone had purchased any seat covers from there and would it have any impact on folding the rear seats down?
Thanks for your help in advance.
No no no no no no no no no no no no no and NO some more.
A halogen lamp assembly isn't designed to deal with the light an arc produces so you end up with scatter, all this does is look shit, blind oncoming traffic and, because its scattered and not directed, actually reduces your own visibility. There is a massive amount of hype on the internet but the simple fact is that it won't improve your vision at all and will quickly become annoying when you get constantly flashed by oncoming traffic because they can't see.
Plus they don't conform to legislation making them illegal.
Plus it should fail an MoT now.
Plus the kits aren't properly electrically screened and therefore will interfere/damage the rest of the cars electronics
Plus there is a very real risk of it melting your lens
Plus you invalidate your insurance - read up on that on the golf forum, a chap on there ended up disqualified for 12 months!
As for the seat covers, I can't help on that! Hopefully not put you off the forum, welcome by the way!
Thanks for the advice. I Would have invested in one and that would have been a waste of money and prolonged damage.
Canyone give me some advice on the seat covers?
Thanks again.
