Title: Slight vibration through cabin while under load
Post by: derekod on March 21, 2015, 07:17:11 PM
I have started to feel a little vibration through the car while under load travelling at 70mph in 6th gear while on an incline, once the car levels off I do not feel any vibration.

It feels more like an up and down vibration and I do not feel it through the steering wheel.

It is also hard to tell if it is an injector under load at fault, or if it is through the drivetrain.

Inner CV joint wear frequently causes these kind of symptoms........ A common issue and numerous threads on here about it, such as this (https://www.fordmpv.com/smf2/ford-galaxy/'wobble-under-load'/) for example.

The only problem is that I don't have a wobble, I did have a problem with them on my older Galaxy where it would do it every time the wheels were lowered down after being jacked up.  But this is not the same type of vibration but it could be early stages of the drives acting up.

I don't think inner CV joint wear always manifests itself as a 'wobble', general harshness or vibration under load are also likely symptoms, depending on the amount of wear that has taken place.
