Hi, just bought a mk1 alhambra 2.0 petrol 1999 model and when I turn off the ignition and remove the key the intetior lights flash in time with a clicking from the fuse box in the dash, the oil, battery, brake, abs and airbag lights stay illuminated and gently fade away. All the while the car cannot be locked until the dash lights have gone. Does anyone have any ideas please. Thanks

It's a good chance you may have broken chaffed or shorting wiring either in the door to body gaiters also tailgate this causes lots of problems.
