Hi . Just one simple question . Is it possible to repair egr valve (it is leaking oil ??? ) or it has to be replaced ? Many thanks .
No if it's leaking oil out the little vent hole you need to replace the whole unit
:( Thanks .
How much of a leak are we talking about? Most, if not all I've seen leak a small amount of oil from that hole...
My EGR valve has a bit of oil seepage/ accumulation around the underside, to be honest I figured this was a result of the valve and inlet manifold being coked up with the usual crud and needing a clean, a job I plan to tackle in due course!
I have back of engine flooded and it is dripping on exhaust . I was getting burnt oil smell - thats how I discovered it .
The EGR does not come apart if it leaks oil or the diaphragm goes then you need to replace.
