I have a 2006 galaxy mark2 TDi 1.9 diesel auto and would like to check some features on my turbo. I'd like to get a VAG COM cable but right now I'm unwilling to do so because I can't find the OBD port. It's not under the ashtray and doesn't appear to be in the compartment to the right of the steering wheel. Any help in finding the port would be much appreciated.
It's not in the compartment you refer to- I take it you mean the access flap for the fusebox above the driver's footwell? It's below the access flap on the bottom, if you bend down into the driver's footwell and look up towards the steering wheel you should see it- it's clipped into a port in the trim that surrounds the fusebox cover.
Take a read here (https://www.fordmpv.com/smf2/ford-galaxy-reference-library/galaxy-mk2-tdi-gaining-access-to-central-junction-box-fuses-relays/)- the port (coloured purple) is just visible right at the bottom of the trim beneath the fusebox in the fifth image down.
