Hello people!
Is there anyway that I can put the wipers in its "rest" pisition standing upright ?
I wonder if thats possible, because they make a litle bit of noise when cruising at 60/70mph and its anoying :P
Thanks
I've had 3 Mk2's and cant say I've ever noticed it being an issue. Just a thought, what brand of blades are you using?
Not easily, it would be possible to modify the clock on the motor but a LOT of work.
The better solution would be to "upgrade" the scuttle to the later Mk2 / Sharan/Alhambra ones as they create an aero barrier off the back of the bonnet. Have a look at the latter sections of this:

Can I fit that aerofoil piece with older style wipers? partnumber?
You need to replace the scuttle top as well, cost about Ã,£45 iirc for the parts from SEAT. Basically two long bits of plastic, the aerofoil bit and the one under the wipers. The wipers and mech are the same,
I just wanted to put the wipers instead of having them resting "down", have them resting "up" if you get me.
There's a lot of people that do that in the Smart For Two
