Anybody can help how to remove the door panel on VW Sharan?

Mk1 & 2 door panels are similar the Mk2 panel removal is in the reference library, see link below

Thanks for reply. My door (VW Sharan 1997) is different from Galaxy, as on the attached picture.

Chris, I tried to remove the locking ring with hammer and screwdriver but it does not move, to the point of damaging the ring. Is there any special tool for removing the ring? Thanks

What ring are you referring to? The wiring loom ring? If so, you don't need to remove that to take the door panel off and yes, you can buy a special tool to do the job from VW.

On the Mk1, panel you need to slide the mirror control/window control panel up (lever it out slightly at the top and then tap it up) which allows you to disconnect it.
