Title: VW Sharan 1.9L (1997) - electric window switch not working

The electric window on drivers side not working, stuck near the top. Can anyone help?

I am not great in car mechanics, in as simple terms as possible will be appreciated. Thanks.

The most likely cause is broken damaged wiring in the gaiter that connects the door to the body, check out the link below.
