Title: Help with fault codes
Post by: SMile on November 04, 2014, 01:48:40 PM
Hi
Just joined this forum. Some useful stuff here. Thanks to the contributors.
Anyway, I just got a P003A code on my 08 Galaxy. Understand it's to do with the turbo.  Anyone with advice please?
Thanks.

P003a - Turbocharger/Supercharger: Boost Control Module Position Exceeded Learning Limit

Most commonly caused by the same issue that plagues the Mk2 TDI Galaxy - sticking turbo vanes! Assuming its mainly used for slow, around town driving with start/stop journeys then warm it up and give it a good long run with plenty of hard, 4K rev runs.
