I'm now to the forum and had a question to ask.
There is a small amount of water dripping onto the footwell of the passenger side - I have looked under the covers and it appears to be condensation coming from the AC unit. I am planning to follow the instructions to open the pollen filter tomorrow and look inside to see if is arising from there but I suppose it might also be a blocked drain hose.
2 questions:
1 - where can I find the drain hose to see if it is blocked? Can I access it at the same time as the pollen filter? On the parts diagram in the Reference Library it looks like the hose comes out from below the same unit, but that does not mean I can access it from there.
2 - Can anyone think where else the leak might be coming from? There was a tantalising hint of a TSB relating to this issue but seemed to be for a Mk 1-2 galaxy not 3.
Many thanks
I"m proper freaked out you have the exact same name as me... scary stuff!!
The drain hose will exit into the engine bay where it will be allowed to drip away, it would be unusual for it to become blocked, they are generally quite a big diameter.
Also worth checking the coolant level is still good.
Thanks Mark!
I have not checked the coolant level but the fluid does seem to be water rather than coolant.
I'll see what I find.
Mark
you asking yourself questions again mark.

I had the same issue and the fault was traced to the pipe leading t the rear window washer fluid pipe.
There apparently is a connector near the drivers foot well near the firewall that connects the rear washer fluid pipe to the reservoir in the engine compartment. Test and see if the rear washer works, if not then that this the problem. The issue was detected and fixed by a Ford authorized maintenance provider during one of the regular servicing intervals. I had informed them that the rear washer was not working and he showed me the dampness of the front floor mat.
Hope this helps
