Title: Central lock voltage drop
Post by: tumesinine on October 12, 2014, 06:19:54 PM
Hello, i tryed to install remote central locking to my Ford Galaxy MK1, sadly i didnt find any information about wires so i just had to test them all out with multimeter. After that i noticed that red/white wire that should be (and was) 12.4V+ was something like 2.1V constant after my testing. Could anyone tell me what went wrong, why is the voltage so low now in central locking wire, obv central locking doesn't work now.

Okay found the solution, the fuse was broken. I didnt think about fuse at all since description says its for air conditioning, radio etc too but seems its just for central locking (number 19), anyway its strange i still get some voltage ater broken fuse but doesnt matter, found the solution!
