Afternoon all,
Have a strange road noise from about 20mph and greater. It sounds like a rubbing burring noise from the road wheels / suspension area's. I've jacked the front end up and rotated each wheel and nothing, also checked for wobble for Bearing on the way out. Brake pads checked out ok too. Im thinking drive shaft's or warped disc's. Has anyone come across this before?
Also between 60 - 65 MPH i get the steering wheel wobble to create a milkshake. Poss alloys out of balance
Any advise would be great before i throw it to my garage

Howdy!
Does the noise change or dissapear when cornering, is it worse under load (e.g, does it go if you press the clutch pedal in?). Wheel bearings don't necessarily have to have detectable play in them to be on their way out. Inner CV joints are a common fail, and if you're getting a vibration as well as noise then there's a good chance of it being them, but it'd likely be worse under load. Have you checked the inner edges of the wheel rims for any buckles?
I had a very similar noise at roughly the same speed that come on for no apparent reason. It turned out to be the splash guard on the back of the lower ball joint which was rubbing lightly on the brake disc - a light tap with a hammer and its never done it since.
