Hi all
After some advise, I have removed my cruise control pump today to see if there was water in it and yep there was, what I'd like to know has anybody opened one up to find it in this state as shown in my photo, and did it Eva work again?
Cheers for any advise
Kierom
99% That will never work again ???
OK thank you lol not what I wanted to hear, I knew they filled with water but I didn't how much corrosion to expect.
Is it possible to clean it up?
Only I just looked on eBay only to find not one pump for sale..
Thank you
Mirez
You might be best to search for "Galaxy 2.3 breaking" and then ask the sellers a question to see if they have one - I'd hazard a guess that a fair few are scrapped without them having knowledge its even there!
If you take it apart and clean it all up you might find some life in it but from the state I suspect the pump itself will be too badly corroded internally. Worth a try though :)
Cheers never thought of that, and I might as well take it apart an try to clean it up ive got nothing to loose worse case it still don't work lol just got to work out how it comes apart.
Once again thank you
PS if I do get it working I'll let you know.
