Title: brake pad light and mot
Post by: wazevan on July 07, 2014, 08:57:21 PM
Hi all once again,
My car going in for mot Thurday and today the brake pad warning light came up on dashboard.
Three weeks ago changed pads and disks on rear. All working fine. Front pads are only 6 months old.Brake fluid all ok.
The light came on twice yesterday then went off.Got in car this morning it came on then went off.Know it is on permently .100% sure it the brake pad light (well that's wot it says.)
Any solutions. As I have not got much time,it could have happened on Sat.
Will this be an mot failure .
Thanks all

I'd check the connections to the pad sensors first.  Nearside Front and Offside Rear.
