Hi all can anyone tell me is the galaxy transponder chip is the id44 or the id 48. Have replaced my remote key with the vw two button flip key fitted a new id 44 chip and programmed fine(1.9 tdi 150) , doing same for wife's 2.3 petrol but her chip is the glass type and when tried to source a new chip have been told the glass ones don't come in id44 just id48. Thanks
Different immobilisers, use the chip from the emergency/valet key as getting the ford one is hard!
