Hi I have a faulty n/s headlight with fault code 01344 xenon headlight faulty, when I switch them on the n/s comes on really dim then after about 20 sec goes out, if I turn them off wait a few min turn them back on it does same, any help would be appreciated, Thanks
01344 is a general, somethings wrong code.
I would suggest you have a ballest fault, on the back of the headlights there is a silver box - swap them over and see if the fault moves sides.
Hi thanks Mirez as usual u were spot on ballast fault. Found a used headlight to keep me on road as I work nights. I'm now on the look out for a ballast unit do you know what other cars I can get one from . Cheers
Most Vdubs of that era, some jaguars and a few mercs. Match the numbers carefully though!
Hi there,
Same problem on my galaxy wgr.
Where can i find a good one?
I swap the balast from left to right and the problem swap to.
