Title: What is this part called?
Post by: DAKOTA86 on May 15, 2014, 08:09:34 PM
Hello, I have a 53 plate ford galaxy ghia 2.3L. I need to replace this part which I assumed was called a rear anti-roll bar, however I cannot find anything that matches this on the Internet or part suppliers in the uk. Does it have a different name? Can anyone help please. Thank you

I think Ford call that the rear swaybar, I can grab you the part number later if you have no luck.

Ok well your options are:

Bar, Stabilizer Sway - DOHC 2.3 (145PS) Low Level Chassis RR Shock Absorbers - FINIS 1097526
Bar, Stabilizer Sway - DOHC 2.3 (145PS) With High Level Rear Shock Absorbers - FINIS 7201718

Dunno what the difference is but I suspect you want the top one - probably worth trying VW tbh as Ford is Ã,£104.75 (ish)
