Humm, wonder if they'll refund if you've already bought replacement badges to replace?
dunno m8,BUT 120 months is going back a long time isnt it?
10 years to be precise :)
Shame the 2nd page isn't attached.
yeah shame,
i wonder if you went into the parts dept and asked to buy a new badge they would ASK how old the car is and actually tell you about this scheme there running at the moment??
;D Heh, nothing worse for brand perception than a manufacturer's badge that's not stood the test of time! The number of Mk2 Galaxies I see with only the silver bit remaining of the rear badge is quite astonishing, at least 50% (and probably more!) of the Gals I see in my travels! (the fronts seem to suffer as well but not quite as much..... wonder why?!) My previous l'il Ka did exactly the same.... rear badge again.
In any case, fair play to Ford, it's as good as an admission that a tatty badge is not good for public perception of the brand!
I'm on the second rear badge and it needs changing again sods law it's now outside the 120 month limit >:(
Do you still have the receipt for the first time you changed it? Might get somewhere if you take that down and complain?
wonder if you could push for any wheel badges to be changed??
that'll be a good one ;)
Just read this - after replacing mine on my Galaxy last month, cost Ã,£15 from ebay and getting all the old sticky pad off before I applied the new one was a challenge :)
Darren
took my receipt in and fair play they have refunded me! woo! THanks greeeeg :)
wow result there m8. :)
