Great forum, already reprogrammed my key. I have two issues which may be related and both electrical. The indicator does intermittently not cancelling when turning the steering wheel. Also I have just changed a rear brake light bulb but is still not working. Have checked the plug but still not working. Any ideas?

Welcome :)
Indicator not cancelling when fully on, not just the "lane change" 3 Flash? There are only really two possibilities for that, and one is much, much more likely then the other. When you depress the stalk a pip slides out into the path of the steering column. As the wheel rotates, so too does the column which has a tab designed to hit the pip, shoving it back in and cancelling the indicator.
Either the column tab is damaged, or much more likely, the stalk's pip is worn and not being pushed back properly. Replace the stalk.

The stop light issue:
Is it the correct bulb fitted?
Have you tested the bulbs?
Have you tested for voltage and earth at the light unit?
