Can anybody help me - i had no central locking to passenger rear door - dismantled it today and ALL wires are sheared in rubber boot - no problem to repair them except ive got 2 wires of same colour - Green with Blue trace - which pin conects to which or does it not matter ?
Wow, never known someone find one where they've all gone through!!
I'll look up what that wiring is doing - gimme 10.
Ok so its important which way around they go as its a control signal from the CJB.
Gn/Bl from the door connector's pin 3 to the locks pin 5
Gn/Bl from the door connector's pin 5 to the locks pin 6
If you want to double check, on the other side of the the door connector (ie, chassis side) the feeds are different colours again. Green/Yellow to pin 3 and Green/Black to pin 5.
Good luck :)
Brilliant - Thank you very much - ive spent all afternoon on the internet trying to find an answer to this and you did in 10 minutes - this site is brilliant !!! ill post how i go on tomorrow - once again thankyou
You're more then welcome, if you get a second could you take a couple of photo's? We don't have a how-to on repairing the wiring and whilst I can write the text (unless you wanted to) - I don't have any photos to go with it!
