Hi there. I've had a fault on my 08 S max for a week or two now thats beginning to irritate me. Fault notification came on the dash to let me know that a brake light/bulb fault had occured. i've changed the bulb 3 or 4 times now and it blows the bulb after only 1 or 2 depressing of the brake pedal. got the MOT at end of the week and wandered if anyone else as had the same problem/diagnostic advice. Thanks in advance.
by the way, all other lights/brake lights are working when needed.

yep exactly the same problem as yours.
i too changed the bulb and it blew instantly,i do believe its a wiring fault within the unit itself, and this needs to be replaced??
as for the mot, dont worry about it.mine past,as it is an extra brake light it just throws up an advisory.
