Hi and can any one help me with this little problem
I have a ford radio rds 6000 which I have fitted in my galaxy 1.9tdi,my only problem is when its off and no keys in ignition it looses the code, hence i have to put it in every time i use the radio and all works fine. with regard's :-X the power leads etc, they are as follows. yellow,black,red orange,brown,black,blue and are all connected to car radio loom except the brown one which i have no idea where it goes, would this wire cause the radio not to remember code !!

Hi Mark,

Pin 1 of the 'power' connector [that isn't for the speakers] is the constant 12v supply.  If this is not connected, then you will get the behaviour you are seeing.
I don't know if this is the brown wire you write about, but seems likely.

Pictures of the wiring would help.
