hi
i was wondering if anybody can help me as i have a few problems i have a mk2 galaxy 1.9 tdi 115bhp the problem is with the front heater when you change the direction of the heater nothing happens (from windscreen to floor or sides )and it does not seem to be blowing very fast on max
THE SMALL (not the big mileage reading clock) MILEAGE METER IN THE DASH CLOCKS DOES NOT KEEP THE MILEAGE READING WHEN you turn the ignition off it auto goes back to zero can someone tell me if it supposed to do this I would appreciate any help on these problems (keep it clean)
welcome5
Have a look at fuse 32 see if it's blown.
thanks for the reply i have checked the 32 fuse and its OK i replaced it with a new one just in case but the problem still exists cheers
Right thats the easy bit done.
Do you know if the car has had wet carpets on the passenger side? as there is a poor electrical splice joint under the carpet which can get corroded and the wires break off, these wires are red and white about 6 of them.
Access is by removing the screws in the passenger side scuff trim, lift the carpet down the side and front edge of seat.
thanks for your help i don't think it has but i will check when weather lets me (no garage) and i will let you know
cheers
