F7 - 20Amp for the Cigarette Lighter
F76 - 15Amp for the rear 12V Sockets

Not sure what you mean by "in the glove box" - never seen an outlet in there!

Hmm, maybe it was added in later. It is a 'unit' with two cigarette lighter 12v and a USB. There are also two cig lighter outlets I. The boot. Btw, where do I find those fuses you listed?

75 & 76 are under drivers seat.
7 is in the central fuse box to the right of the steering column.

Thanks Chris, that's the 12v cigarette lighter fixed. Btw, I noticed two slots empty (16 & 17) do you know what they ae for. Also there is a row of 8 fuses running under the 26 and perpendicular. What are these related to - they don't have a legend on the fuse cover. Is there a listing somewhere that explains all the fuse functions? Thanks

Chrispb, Would you have the layout for the mk11

One of the connections on the central fuse box on mine has been broken, fuse is loose/falling out.

number 29 according to (whats left of) the book I have which shows up as igniton fuel supply for the TDI
I am guessing it has not made proper contact since before I bought it.

With this fuse completely out it starts!

Any advice or quick fix

Fuse 29 is not needed for the 115ps engine

Ignition referred to in the book is for the V6 engine

It also does the fan control relay on the ASZ engine only

Thanks for the information Chrispb

The book that said 29
Ignition, fuel supply (Turbo Diesel)

Came with the car just says Galaxy Owners guide, I have no idea if the book is correct for year, let alone if it is the original.

So that is reassuring to know that it is N/A for the 115bhp

If I took a photo of the central fuse box, would you take a glance when you get a chance.
