I saw a N reg Galaxy just now, it looked absolutely amazing.

Old guy driving it, clearly looks after his motor car very well.

Looked absolutely mint. I think it may have been a Ghia model too. Pure class. Bet it's worth a fortune.
I drive a Seat Alhambra 1.9Tdi which has 115bhp and an automatic gearbox.

I am happy to help you with all your questions. I am not a qualified mechanic but seem to be better at fixing my car than even the most experienced garages.

I have lots of friends here and very much enjoy talking with you all. Always remember, a motor car is a serious tool and should be treated with respect. Put your safety first, always.

Very rare to see a Mk1 these days! The design of the Mk1 and 2 was better (IMO) then the later generations. I miss my old silver one (it's the banner photo) but as least the Mk2 is still going strong!

Yes, it was a real treat to see that lovely Galaxy, it was a real head turner. I agree that the Mk1 and Mk2 were the best, they just couldn't be beat really when it comes to practicality, style, comfort, reliability, etc.

I didn't realise you were once the proud owner of that lovely silver galaxy in the banner, it looks so good I thought it was a stock photo, perhaps from a promotional brochure!

Why oh why could they not keep on making these lovely vehicles, perhaps the problem was they were just TOO good!

It was a 2.3 Ghia and the photo is taken down on the sand at Brean, near Weston Super Mare.

Ironically I sold it as the 2.3 wasn't efficient enough for daily commenting. At the time nobody wanted the petrol versions but now nobody wants the diesels!

Technology and trends move on, the relentless drive was lower emissions and the 'advancement' in computer AI simply makes most cars look and feel the same - typically a 1.5 turbo engine with a smoothed front end.

That and the world's obsession with image...
